After further testing, I found the most effective and temporary solution for the black screen and crash issue:
Disable and Re-enable Your GPU Driver:
Go to Device Manager, disable your GPU (NVIDIA in my case), and re-enable it. This has consistently worked for me to get the game running.
⚠️ Note: This fix needs to be applied every time the PC restarts, as the issue returns after rebooting.
Other methods like adjusting Shader Cache settings or reinstalling the graphics driver provided only temporary relief and were less reliable.
