Report a translation problem
The short answer is "now wouldn't be a bad time".
This is a working port of a game that was at one point considered complete enough to no longer call it a beta. The PC port occasionally gets some shenanigans like broken screenshot button, but, and this ties into my second point…
…it's a "live service" type of game, where major updates are regular even past 1.0 release – when such a game is "finished", this is usually a sign it's on its way to fading away into obscurity.
So the date it leaves Early Access isn't going to be the date it's "finished", it's going to be more of an expectation of stability on par with other platforms the game is on. But for the duration of EA the PC version is expected to get more bugs. And it does!
Severity of the bugs on PC… varies. But none of them I believe will prevent you from experiencing the story that exists so far.
