The current season is season of Moomin.
I doubt it's the same issue though, IIRC inviting spirits does not invoke Festival tech anyway?..
I'll poke around when I have the time, but I'm not hopeful
As something of a shot in the dark, try opening Sky's properties within Steam and disabling Steam overlay, maybe that helps. If it doesn't, turn it back on and… hope, I suppose.
I just assumed when a season had concluded that was it.
You get the extra candles and it's over.
I will start a new account on my Switch and see if the same thing happens, so I'll see if it was pressing the F button that crashed the game. Since I haven't seen someone that got the same problem, I suppose this is the cause.
Still, thank you very much for your answer and trying to help me :)
But TGC changed things up during my extended break from The Little Prince until Revival, and now the quests and spirits remain when their season ends. Their cosmetics are no longer unlockable unless a spirit comes back as a traveling one, but stories and locations you can now explore from nearly all seasons at any time.
Though this change seems to be an afterthought and you can sometimes see leftovers like the guide teleport function that can't be accessed from anywhere, because the guide is only in their seasonal location now. It's also entirely possible that quests of the past seasons are not well tested.
Past seasonal quests have been playable since 2020, starting with Enchantment.
