Forest and Rain...drains more than my will to play

On PC: I'm having a hard time getting through quests for spirits in the Forest solo...the rain is draining my "health" SO fast and it's been so frustrating. On top of that, having to flap our wings to get up in the trees WHILE the rain drains us is annoying...I understand there's still a method to do this, but so far, these "challenges" seem increasingly difficult in this environment. I also continue getting stuck in mountain sides or walls...and clouds of course.
The keybindings for flying don't make a whole lot of sense. Toggling right click to fly, or not, and then to glide down, and using space bar to flap takes a lot of tries and time, and frankly, a LOT of patience to get the hang of it. The response time for mouse and keyboard is laggy. Lastly, depending on the location i'm in, calling for "help" to show the marker on screen, doesn't always work. I have no indicators on where to go half the time. Not sure if it's just the Steam/PC version of this or not...
Anyways, I'm hoping these things are considered bugs and can be fixed or improved. But if you have any advice, I'd gladly accept it. Thank you :)

I would suggest coming back to Hidden Forest when you have more winged light. Once you get a decent amount of wedges, the affect of the rain is barely noticeable.
