Failed to connect Error
Hello, I have been trying to play Sky ever scene PC Demo came out, and ran into the constant and annoying issue where it says "Failed to Connect please try again" error when ever i open the game, and today is launch day and it still yet doesn't work, i tried disabling my Firewall and Anti virus to no avail, Even tried to restart my wifi, router pc and even tried to reinstall the game and even tried to reinstall it with a different path, and it still doesn't work. if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know. I've been asking for help via there discord server and NO ONE had been helping me at all. And has just told me that It was a "Demo Bug" but if its in full release and still doing this I'm pretty sure its a error or bug.

You don't have the players and company info.

Apparently you have trouble understanding the difference between internet speed and ping...

OP and other players would of been having the same (post history) issues with other online gaming companies if that was the case. Its more of you don't want to let go that this company is not good at its job and having stable servers.

Hell, it couldn't even handle the servers from catching fire.

Again, do you work or are part of this company in some way?

Again, to play an Online game smoothly, you are required to have a Ping less than 60 when connecting to the game's server. Up to 150 is still tolerable. But once you hit 200, it's lag point. Once you hit 300 above, it's hell point, where things in your game start freezing and disconnection started to happen, when over 500, you probably won't be able to connect to the game at all.

If you are unwilling to fix your part of the Ping, and the company with the game you're trying to play isn't willing to upgrade theirs, then the answer is easy. This game is not meant for you.

Where did OP and other players said their ping was that high? You're just regurgitating what most players on Steam know about online gaming.

What is your affiliate with this game company?

Unable to connect, lag in game etc are the results of Ping issue. Period. If you are unwilling to learn, it's your own lose honestly.
There are tons of articles out there that may update your knowledge on these matters... if you're too lazy to search for one... here's one you can start with:
https://race.com/blog/what-causes-lag-in-games/

If you hate the game's connection that much, there's no point of you to remain here wishing to Santa Clause that one day, it may improves for your region... unless you act so yourself. If you really like this game, enough to cry a river over it, then it's time to upgrade your network so you can play the game smoothly.

My connection and ping is fine, every other online game i play i have no issues with. You're making excuses for a company as if it was your job, in which you keep deflecting when asked if you work for them or just a fan. Which proves my point more so that you're just here for damage control and pointing blame at others when its clear its a server issue.

In which you also are making players feel bad about themselves when you failed to even know what each players network details to even be able to give them the correct answer too. again, you're just giving a "fit all" basic answer without knowing their details.

So in other words, you don't know their details. Got it.

Why do i need to know? Just go to the web site and check your Ping to Los Angeles and your will know if your Ping is good or not connecting to the game server (located there). Match it with the Ping table i provide above and you know if the game is right for you or not. You can keep it a secret or tell the world you can't play it, it's your choice whether or not to share your info on the internet. :winkycat:

If you can't understand that... well... good luck? :laughcat:

You're dismissing the fact that you do not know each players ping and you are claiming that is the only issue. Again, my ping is good for it, yet myself and everyone i know (who some even live in cali who are also techs) still has issues with its servers on all platforms.

The only "secret" here is the obvious shills that dont want to hold a rich company responsible. tsk tsk

This is from a year ago and it still holds true... NOTHING done to help the connection issues, which is sad because I would have kept playing if the devs actually cared :steamfacepalm:

Yeah i stopped playing mths ago, they are so greedy with their cash shops and so lazy for fixing anything in the game. I know this is more of a "girly" cozy (its not) game but Infinity Nikki is hitting all the right spots for a fun game that plays really well and doesn't crash like Sky does.
