Don't be like me and trying to figure out why when you click play it crashes lol.

Do a little bit of digging, this game uses AVX2, my CPU uses SSE4.2 so you already know that I won't be able to play it.

Check if your CPU supports AVX2.
Check your other requirements.
Press windows + r
type "dxdiag"
click yes
click on display to view GPU if needed
Or just go to Google and write "Can I run it" if you are lazy.

Also, I was reminded by a commentator named Meowish that this game also requires Vulkan.
Minimum is Vulkan 1.2, recommended is 1.3
Press windows + r and type vulkaninfo
Wait until it finishes and scroll up to check the version.

A quick google search tells me that the minimum specs of that game lists a CPU that also supports AVX2, so unless yours is below that, well, no? Should be fine?

Other than the Spec and driver problems. As expected, the game's server isn't prepared for the population surge for launch day. So such problems are to be expected. You might want to try the game again a few days later when the surge is finally over. Do not expect the game company to cough up money for servers just for a temporary surge, we've seen how unwilling they are on spending money on servers. So bear with it until the surge is over.

For Spec and Drivers problem:
[1] Make sure your specs meet the requirement of the game. AVX2 is among them.
[2] For drivers, make sure ALL your GPUs supports Vulkan 1.3, some PC have more than one GPU, so make sure all of them are updated.

Getting the system info:

[1] On Steam Client, click on "Help" on the top then select "System Information".
You can check most of your system info here, including whether or not your CPU supports AVX2.

[2] Press Win+R and type in vulkaninfo then press enter, this should tell you the information you need to know about the vulkan driver on your system.

[3] Press Win+R and type in dxdiag then press enter, this should tell you some of your system information and especially your graphic card information (in the display tab).

Sky.exe is not responding often appears on startup if you don't have a lot of RAM (like me, 8 GB), but should just clear up by itself if you don't touch anything and wait like 5 seconds?

It's not a server issue anyway, then it'd just not load further than the start screen or give a server error popup. If it were a CPU or driver issue the game just wouldn't load or have corrupted graphics.

Well, it's among one of the problem, but is temporary to the launch date and will go away after the surge is over.

It causes other problems like stuck at login screen, stuck when doing events, sitting down not working, can't pick up items, etc etc

I never really checked that. My CPU is from 2010. It's intel i5 760. So yeah.

My GPU is NVDIA GTX 660

That cpu is 14 years old, and 660 is 12 years old, just a little outdated :P
