places like grandma or the contaminated geyser are awful places for meting people, players there are usually just concerned with farming.
you have to also keep in mind, old players already have their friend group, there is a limit in the number of friendships a regular person can manage, its normal that eventually each one of us reaches a limit
play the game, i don't know if this is you but i see many stop *really* playing the game after their first visit to eden. this game, in a similar way as the previous title is about the "journey" not only yours but others, and you helping others in theirs, that's how you meet people.
if you feel that you have collected all the winged light you could, that is the reminder you have to go to eden, get you ascended candles, and go do the realms again, collect your winged light, show other were to get them, help players struggling with a spirits, get past the dragons, and then... do eden again! help others in eden and do it all over again and again. (eden resets each week, you don't have to go over board, play at your own pace, keep in in mind the reset if you want to get the ascended candles)
besides that there are the social spaces (the starting area of each realm), home and aviary, and the new cafe, they are an option but i prefer to be proactive, besides if your traveling trough the realms you visit these areas anyway.
hope this helps, good luck in your travels, and remember to have a good time while you're playing
And like Real Life, some may find it hard to walk up to a stranger dressed in suits and expensive branded looking outfits... but in this game, you can't see their outfit until you reach out your candles to them, so it's a "Gacha" thing that depends on your luck if you think those are the people you want to avoid...
Honestly, the game should make an area that show all player's outfit to make things easier for players with this issue. The Cafe should be a place for such stuffs imo...
I have over 75 hours, i play daily and so far am pretty knowledgeable about how the game functions and I have been to Eden 3 times (I am aware of the weekly cap). This post was kinda made out of frustration, especially when it comes to the vets. I get people have their clicks and friends already, but it is tricky to talk with others in other areas than Grandma and Geyser since alot of players focus on farming/rushing through levels in general. Only times people have talked to me were at Grandma's and the Cinnamoroll cafe. I don't know how your experience has been but it is one of my favourite things when people are willing to sit down and have a conversation with each other, helping each other with spirits is fun yes, but it feels kinda meh when everybody scatter after and do their own thing again. I have had some amazing interactions in the game but they have only been within Eden, the home area, Grandma's and the Cinnamoroll cafe.
I have no issue approaching people, it's just that I get ignored the majority of the time.
I do agree that an area where you can see outfits from the get-go would be smart, especially when vets don't really wanna be friends with moths so the moths can talk with each other more easily.
Yes the cafe has been the most useful besides Grandma's for me, I hope it stays after the event just without the Cinnamoroll decor I guess.
I believe it is a perm area, just without the decor, you can only get that back if you have the plushie on your back
Yeah that was my understanding of how the cafe functions, I was just unsure since a friend of mine said it would be gone (the whole cafe) after the 17th lol.
The dog is just there for the "Open ceremony" of the Cafe. The Cafe itself is a permanent area originally meant for PUG (Pick Up Group) that wanted to do quests and tour together. But i haven't seen a good match making system or NPC in place for such things there yet... So TGC probably wanted the players to sort that out themselves.
Ohhh interesting, didn't know that second half

They haven't have a clear image on what they have in plan for it yet other than the PUG function... but clearly it will be seeing more events in the coming days and with each of them, some types of upgrades to it...
(That's why it's the perfect place to setup a none-masking zone and show everyone's outfit)
Yeah it seems like it will be there for future collabs and events, maybe the theming changes with the season. Cool though, thanks for sharing :)
Seeing how you can summon the decors from past events if you bought a certain item (for this event, it's the plush) from the cash store, that means there should be more than 1 type of summon-able decors for the future.... (I have a feeling that they are looking forward to add the KFC collab from the NetEase version somehow...
Anyway have fun flying!
Omg a KFC collab for the cafe would be hilarious, and yeah makes sense that they probably will sell future themes. Thanks for the info and responses! Have a nice day :)
