Game not working
Can someone help me solve this problem? I played Sky a few weeks ago, but these few days the game still can't work. It keeps crashing after the loading page :(
My laptop fits the requirements that this game needs and also supports Vulkan and AVX2.

I doubt it, you can buy games you can't play on Steam, though they give you a refund period of 14 days from purchase or below 2 hours play time... The thing about PC is it's chaotic when compare to mobile or console platform, that's why there isn't a clear range of what we can or can not install, the only way is to install and find out yourself... Some games may said you can't play it, but players are able to "mod" them to be play-able... Same goes to Sky, if they goes strictly to 6th Gen only as stated in their requirement, a lot more players will be unable to play this game. But i agree it will be a much cleaner experience like Google Store where it simply won't let you download if your device is not on the support list, it made it easier to give up.

The reason the game won't start is simple, the game needs 2gb Vram to run but there's only 1gb available.

But the reason behind why your 1650 ti is 1gb is not clear, as it should be 4gb Vram.... so you might want to check that out with the tech store and see what the technicians have to say about it. There might be variants of 1650 ti that only come with 1gb that i might not know about... as far as i know it comes in 4gb or 8gb... so you may need to ask the hardware experts in the tech store about it. They should know the reason and the fix to it more than anyone else. eg. Bios settings that caused the conflict on your iGPU and dGPU making the vram read weird...

Then at least players would all know instantly rather than 95% of people having no clue and never personally asking why in this discussion to find out.

Well the minimum game requirement written on the page is 6th Gen CPU to be fair. So it doesn't need to specific the AVX2 requirement which some 4th and 5th Gen CPU has it, but not all of them, so it may be complicated saying "some of them may run"... for 6th Gen and above, they all have AVX2.

Hello, i see you know quite a lot, my game is closing a second after logging in the game, i know nothing about GPU stuff but i have a AMD Radeon(TM) RX Vega 10 Graphics, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, sorry for the trouble

For AMD iGPU pairing with Nvidia dGPU, there's a known issue that Vulkan App will not run or crash. This is Nvidia's Customer Service's suggestion on how to fix it:
