Sky sync on mobile requires Steam Guard authentication

Hello!
In order to have the Steam account logged in on mobile (Android), Sky prompts to login to Steam in it's own browser. Is this normal?

But instead, it prompts my login credentials and wants me to give Steam Guard permission.

Depends on your setup on the security level of your steam account. Most of the time the guard permission is needed if you haven't already given the permission to the webpage you are trying to login, but usually you just need to approve it on the mobile phone from the steam app and you're good to go. You should get a page similar to what you linked after you sign in and approved using steam guard.
