[1] Try update your GPU(s) drivers, if you have more than one GPU, make sure you update them all using the drivers from their manufacturer's website.
[2] If you are using N or KN series windows, you can try download the Media Feature Pack and see if that helps.

[3] Try check the file integrity of the game, or try reinstall the game.
[4] If the above methods don't work, you can try play the game on mobile by using your Steam account as your login method there, play the part where it crash and finished it, then come back to Steam to continue playing. That should bypass it for you.
