My friends list on the constellation are all offline

All my friends on the constellation table says they are all offline, however that's not the case. My partner is definitely online (we chat through steam). She can teleport to me through the constellation, but I can't since the table insist she's offline. Constellation still didn't update and on our next server split, I still can't join her (still offline). It seemed to remedy itself after restarting the game. It only occured once in my entire playthrough here on steam so I'm not sure if it's a known issue or just an isolated case.

I have had this too,earlier this week. showed my son as offline.. but he could tp to me and clearly;y was not offline.
