Did they remove emoji insertion on chats?

Recently, i can use emoji on in game chat through the windows + "." hotkey and the emoji sends just fine. However, yesterday, when i tried it again, it just resolved to "??". Was this change announced and intentional or is it a bug? I think this happened after the latest update.

There are reports that the game changed some of the chat filters since last update. So it could be effecting how the emoji works.

Whether or not it will be fixed or is meant to be that way is unknown.

You can report it as a bug in the Discord's Bug Report Channel, if it's added as a known issue in their fixing list, then we can know that it will be fixed, if not, then they probably don't intend to fix it.
