Vulkan 1.2 solution

For anyone wondering why they cant boot up the game while having good graphics card. The answer is you might probably not having vulkan at all, due to GPU driver issue or any other (Like cleaning your old GPU cash when you've changed the brand). Here's the thing that helped me and hope it will help you all.

Go to this website and download Latest Runtime. I'm not sure about SDK but better keep it handy too. All you need to do is just download these two files and install wherever you want, but be curious about requirements of this game as well. Hope it helps anyone.

I downloaded both, but i don't know what to do now...i tried starting the game again and it just opens and closes immediately. :c

Have you tried booting up Vkcube in SDK bin folder? If it works the vulkan should be working too i guess. I don't know, it just worked for me for some reason

For vulkan errors, all you need is goto your Graphic Card's official website and download the latest driver. If your GPU supports it, it will be updated with the latest vulkan driver. If you have more than 1 GPUs on your system, make sure to update them all using the drivers from their manufacturer's website.

There are 3rd party software that helps you update these drivers, like Adrenaline for AMD or Geforce Experience for Nvidia, but make sure these software are up to date before trying to update the drivers, else they won't be downloading the latest version.

When I try to run the game I get the "Needs newer version of Vulkan 1.2" message. I downloaded and installed Vulkan 1.3 SDC and Vulkan (runtime) RT 1.3 and I still get the message. I can't find a version of Vulkan 1.2 anywhere. I do get the spinning cube so Vulkan must be working, but maybe my graphics card (Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060) is not compatible? any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Long story short, usually the solution to Vulkan issues is updating graphics card drivers to the latest version. You do not normally need to explicitly install any runtimes or SDKs as these are either installed automatically or are unnecessary (SDKs in particular are used only in development).

Hi, I am new here and not professional, but to share my experience that I updated the Intel Graphic driver 2 times: Before it told me I don't have Vulkan drivers, and after the first update it told me I need Vulkan1.2, So I find a newer version of the Intel Graphic driver(although the system told me as before that the driver on my PC is the newest), and this time it works.

This is where I download the driver (7755), you can see in "Detailed Description" saying "Highlights Vulkan* 1.2 API Support":

Also there is a newer version (7870) which you can change at the top of the page, but I just tried this one. Hope it helps.

TAB "/" between these words in a row, also TWO DOTS in the spaces in first row, see if you can find that website with a Intel Graphics Drivers version 26.20.100.7755.
Anyway, I think the latest version of Intel Graphics driver for you Grahic Card may solve the problem. This is the first version that can run this game.

Actually there are many similar problems but I don't think the only problem is Vulkan. It is more of a software conflict. I have been having trouble entering the game for 2 months. I have tried many ways you can think of. Since the support was having fun during the New Year's week, they didn't even care about the files I sent. I guess I will have to bother them every day until they help. What I mean is, if I knew about software, I would solve the problem on my own because I can't enjoy the game anymore. Please share these problems with the support outside of here, that's the only way to get their attention.
