Playing Music is hard

kb+mouse seem much better than controllers for it but it's still difficult. Does anyone have any general tips or about keyboard layout or a better way to learn and play music on pc?

Alternatively... would macros work or is that not allowed?

Tip 1: play instruments on phone if you can, so much easier.
Tip 2: turn down the metronome down so at least you have a bit more of time to see the “path”
Tip 3: i find wind instruments far easier than string ones

I personally use different keys for playing on keyboard. here are my settings:
1Y 2U 3H 4J 5B
6N 7M 1,andK 2O 3P
4[ 5] 6L 7; 1'
Good for playing with chords.
