IIRC crossplay was fixed and should be able to play with other platforms now
(ios, android, switch, playstation)

Yes, although they have said that crossplay may be off at times as they work on finishing the PC port. Also, currently there can be issues joining friends in the home areas, so someone should go into a realm and have friends join there.
