bug where candle won't stay lit to interact with things

Not sure how to better explain it frankly. So here's a GIF. [media.giphy.com]

A few friends and i have had a bug (very recently) where whenever we interact with other, darkness plants or anything that involves our candle light (pressing F), the game snuffs it out straight away.

Much like lighting your candle and immediately tapping away to put it out again, except the game forces it... and nothing gets melted. Mind you, i'm not sure what causes it.
This is extremely infuriating when trying to do well, anything. Events, player doors wax etc... I have had no issue before the demo on phone, switch or macbook.

If this is a PC demo issue, do let me know if you and/or others have had the same issue, i am a massive fan of the PC version, but this and the recent crossplay issues have made it somewhat unplayable.

You should check the 8 player puzzle in Daylight Prairie, last time I was there it took legit 2h to get to the top, cause there was always 2~3 players with the candle bug.

Safe to say I'm not going there again, other platforms haven't got the update yet, so I cannot say if it's a bug on all platforms.

My Nintendo Switch is on previous update and does not have the issue (same can be said about PC before update, this issue is new far as I know), is all I can say.

I met the same bug,as kobi blade said,the first time I met it was on the 8players puzzle on daylight prairie,and I found sometimes my friends meet this problem too,but seems not everyone have this bug

I think going to Home and teleporting back to where you were can sometimes fix it, but this is only hearsay. Here's hoping TGC fixes it soon...

I had this bug while I was playing, yesterday, I could not interact with anything at all, the worst being that to open many portals or even to burn some corrupted "plants" ( and thus, gain light points ), this interaction is necessary

I notice that it happens when a specific player is in the same area as you. It might be some sort of desync. Only happens when at least one other player is nearby.
This was a issue before the last PC demo update, and it still happens to me every now and then.
