Account disappeared, for no reason.

After 32 hours of play on Steam. My account disappeared overnight. End of the adventure for me. Disgusting.

If an administrator can do anything, but I doubt it. Thank you for this beautiful discovery which was part of my life and which is ending suddenly.

All local accounts were removed after this new update, if you didn't link your account to steam then it's plausible it was removed as well. You could try talking to support using the support link: https://thatgamecompany.helpshift.com/hc/en/17-sky-children-of-the-light/contact-us/
but there's probably little to nothing they could do since nothing was linked to that local account

It's definitely upsetting that it happened, but don't let it tarnish the game for you!! It is a Demo, so these things can happen :(

There's still lots of fun to be had playing Sky!! Don't give up on all the amazing potential experiences you will enjoy :D

You can see if you can get your account back that dysforeaa ^^^ linked above there ... my BF lost his account ... but now he's hoarding the candles/hearts to afford things he wanted before but spent too frivolously the 1st time.

There WAS a warning, you just didn't see it. The devs aren't being pricks for the sake of being pricks.

the warning was pretty easy to miss, though. i didn't even read it fully, i just figured it was a just-in-case. my friends say i'm still on their friends list too, so i know the devs could probably do something to help, but i contacted support and got nothing. sad

Its sad that this has happened it truly is. But the fact remains that they stated from the very beginning of the Demos announcement, that progress will be lost if your accounts aren't linked.

I'm all for speaking out about scummy business practices and the like. But this isn't it chief you just didn't read any updates or announcements there was plenty of time and warnings.

Now get out there and become the greatest Sky Kid that your destined to be.
