I can now only use the mouse to control the camera. I can no longer use the arrow keys to control it, which is really terrible. Hopefully this isn't intended and will be fixed?
My bf also wishes for inverted flight option for keyboard.
I'd love an option to toggle different walking speeds, for more precise movement and for flavor. Maybe with 1-5 keys? 1 being walk, 5 being the fastest run?
I also wish we could have 2 interaction buttons (1 for environment, one for nearby player) or a button to switch focus between nearby objects/players.
but making us able to use shortcuts on keyboards is wonderful and I hope you guys will make most of it!
When trying to do the daily music thing in Harmony Hall, when I try to press a note with the mouse cursor, about every third note as I try to press it switches to controller button and the button move meaning I've missed the note.
It only switches briefly and JUST as I press the note button. I don't even have a controller plugged in to my PC ;p
i can however give you feedback on controller play, its great! i am so thankful we can remap the buttons how we want them and i ask with all my heart that you allow this in all other formats of sky!!
Unfortunately, something seems to have changed in the last few days. I feel much more "blown about" by the wind currents and camera than previously. It has become very difficult to control my motion or actions, the camera swivels on its own more often, and there seems to be either a lag or gradient to the response, particularly when trying to control my direction with the mouse.
- Interpret Enter as confirmation/selection button, as is tradition on PC
- Add a dedicated button for equipping/hiding the candle (like R, preferably also middle mouse button)
- Use arrow keys to move the cursor and/or camera around
And there seems to be no way to do the same "jump in direction" as done on mobile by swiping on the left half of the screen — I'd half-expect doing the same thing with the mouse (while holding down Shift; cumbersome, but better than nothing at all) to do the same.
If camera controls were more responsive (no smoothing on the mouse), then reorienting the camera and WASD+Space could be a decent replacement. But this also often gets borked during cutscenes when camera controls are taken away entirely (which is annoying, but probably unavoidable).
Now, confusingly, it displays arrow keys as numbers as seen on the numpad (that's probably a bug), but normal arrow keys work despite that.
