2. Download Nvidia studio driver 537.58
3. Enjoy :3

What is that driver for? I have a friend who cannot open the game even with his graphics drivers updated.

just download studio driver on nvidia experience. then u ready to go. i already reinstall this game but still can't open the game after i download nvidia studio driver now i can play the game

1. Studio driver wont help anymore than the latest game ready driver, and in-fact can cause more issues with compatibly. Use the latest game ready drivers.

2. This is assuming you have an Nvidia graphics card.

3. Most people with issues launching sky have integrated graphics from Intel on outdated processors, at least that's what it seems from the discord PC support servers, it sucks but there's nothing we can do to help these players if their hardware literally cannot run sky.

there's people saying they have a 3080 with updated drivers that can't run it. so the devs can and have plenty to do to optimize the game yet

this only can normal play for a moment and again
i need keep reinstall to playing

i not the IT pro but after i install the game then i try to open it. the game can't launch so, i try run administrator, set all OC setting to default include XMP, close msi afterburner.perform DDU, reinstall the game nothing help. then i try reinstall the nvidia driver but using studio then i change back to game driver. then now i can play :D sorry for my bad english

try install studio driver without DDU then open the game after that u install the game driver back the game will launch without problem

I installed the latest driver just now, restarted, and so far it's still crashing upon launch. Ahh well, maybe when it's past the demo phase for pc.

I'm not a computer nerd (probably should be) but i'm not installing new drivers from other companies just for one game. I know my computer can handle the game as I've played it for a couple of hours and its just not working after a minor update so, I think devs need to fix

some major games actually do require you to update your drivers so it's not just a sky thing it is recommended to keep all your drivers updated just in general even if for right now it seems like it's just for "one game"

main thing I notice is when I try to run it through the files it tries to tell me steam needs to be running or updated in an error box regardless if running normally or as administrator whats the run down on this?

what you can try doing that works for me is to run the actual exe icon on files that's stored on your computer. Right-click that and run as administrator. works for me
