A few FAQs and Notes Regarding Steam and Sky on PC

Hi everyone! I know there are a lot of questions about Sky on PC as well as about our presence on Steam in general. Below are a few of the questions I’ve seen the most. I hope this helps a little!

🔹 PC launch when? Where? How? GIVE ME DETAILS
We hear you! And we’re looking forward to sharing more details as soon as we can. Right now, the PC version of Sky is still being worked on, which means most of our responses are going to be some version of “Keep an eye on our official news channels for future announcements and details”. We can’t wait to share more with you, please just have patience while we finalize details and prepare our announcements.

UPDATE (October 5th, 2023): We recently posted an update about Steam Next Fest , which includes information about a Live version demo!

🔹 Will there be Beta testing for PC?! Is that what the Beta section is for?!
The Beta section here on Steam is just to prevent any current Beta spoilers from escaping into the general channels. We know folks like to discuss what’s going on in our testing environment, but we also know that a lot of players want to avoid spoilers.

UPDATE (July 18th, 2023): We just announced Beta testing for PC! Please head over to the News article here on Steam or on the thatskygame website [www.thatskygame.com] for more information.

🔹 Will there be a special cosmetic pack for PC launch like there was for PlayStation/Nintendo?
We don’t have any details yet, but keep an eye on our official news channels for future announcements!

Is ti gonna support 144fps or is it gonna be capped at 60fps, thats all I need to know.

I'm just wondering if you guys already have Sky on Mac, what took it so long? Is the process of porting the game really that much time consuming?

The Mac version runs only on M1 Macs cause it runs naive iPad/iPhone versions, ist not actual Mac port, just running mobile version on M1 Arm Macs

There is nothing about it on any of their official social media or Discord server.

Asked in official discord and its confirmed false, there is also new blog post about an hour ago on official website that also confirms PC will in fact release.

Thank you for confirming, IDK how they even came to the idea that PC version is cancelled when nothing official was announced.

hello, will the PC version allow linked accounts and continue progress or do players need to start all over again ?

I hope the flying will be as enjoyable on pc controller as it is on mobile...not sure how it might work though. Cuz it was already quite finicky on switch

That same user despite their posts already being taken down still keeps making posts saying that pc version is cancelled, cant you as a devs just ban him from this games forum since he keeps spreading false info all the time.
