I mean i have nothing against it, or donkey kong or mario etc. Those are fine for kids. But i assume a lot of the people who are into that nowadays are what? 25? 30? 40 something? I mean i was disinterested in that stuff when i was a kid and i can't even imagine myself playing it at the age i am now. How much of a manchild (or womanchild) you have to be to enjoy characters made for children this late? Lmao.

But i guess it could be worse. There are even more pathetic obsessions like Marvel capeturds or MLP :D

Sir, a golden hedgehog fought a sun god, water god, a robot leviathan, the god of time and space, actually dies multiple times. The games aren't made for kids, just made accessible and fun for everyone. Children are drawn in by a bright colorful cast, adults are drawn in by high-speed gameplay and good writing as long as the game doesn't have boost.
