Help unlocking characters? Arcee and Flamewar impossible?

I need help unlocking characters, specifically Arcee and Flamewar. I have completed all needed challenges to unlock the characters except the few listed below:

The first problem I've been having is "complete a galactic trial with bumblebee in prime difficulty". This feels genuinely impossible. Bumblebee is far too squishy but fast, his speed carries me well through the racing, but the lead doesn't help me once I get into the combat sections, I get shredded immediately and get sent to last place with everyone having a massive lead. Is there something I'm missing? I genuinely don't understand how it's supposed to be possible outside of getting perfect luck with artifacts and the AI.

The second problem I've been having is with the "finish lacon city under 290 seconds" and "finish grand prix under 140 seconds" for unlocking arcee and flamewar. These time trial requirements are extremely strict, and my best performances can complete a single lap in the time I'm supposed to complete the entire race.

Any help or advice on what I might be doing wrong would be greatly appreciated

Flamewar's finish grand prix under 140 seconds was not a problem for me ( i use BumbleBee (level 5 second ability which was a shield while in mid air)
The Arcee's "finish lacon city under 290 seconds" I have not figured out yet.

Same problem but for megatron hes too slow
As for the time trials, i think they have a typo cuz i got flamewar with a 2:43 time so just try to do it fast and see if it works
Also you can disable the AI in quick race and it still counts

Yeah I just got flamewar so maybe what they meant was that you needed a single lap time that beat the record?

I haven't even attempted megatron yet although I've been able to deal with slower characters like optimus on expert for elita-1. The problem I've been having with Bee is that he dies in like two shots so you're basically guaranteed to die once you get into a combat section unless you manage to get a godly lead against the AI, and even then you're still at risk of getting destroyed by the turrets/troopers

This "Bumblebee with level 5 shield ability" trick actually helped me breeze through the prime difficulty galactic trial to unlock Arcee. I guess I really was missing something lol.
