Can text be turned off?

Talking about the non stop text scrolling across the top of the screen. I see nothing in settings to turn this off and sorry but I don't read Chinese. I can speak a little and understand a little but sadly can't read it. Even if it was in a language I could understand it would be annoying and I really want it gone.

Also some of the responses on the phone are in Chinese so I have no clue what I'm picking. Think I pissed a couple ladies off cause they blocked me.

Well, co pilot just said the non stop text scrolling can't be turned off directly, but co pilot is an infant AI still learning so I have no idea where it got this info. If this is the case I can't see myself completing this, difficult to concentrate on people talking when text is just scrolling over them non stop.

I don't remember this being in the game when i first purchased it. Now a fresh install on my new PC . I can't read Chinese? .. it is so annoying to have it right across most of the screen. I have wasted my money.

I figured it out, you have to click the bottom left to turn it off. Made it much better.
