Bugged Chests in The Dump

I am unable to retrieve the chests under the red X's using the crane. I watched a tutorial, and they seemed to get them pretty effortlessly, but no amount of trying has worked. I also tried resetting the world and closing/opening the game a couple of times, but I think it's glitched. Hoping there will be an update that fixes this.

Got kinda the same bug, it seems the problematic chest for me is the one on the left side by the entrance near the hook and rope sequence. I remeber trying to grab it and it just clipped through the pile of trash and after 1000 world resets its still missing. I watched the guide and checked every known location in case I could've missed some and I'm 99.9% sure that's the one I'm missing. Also, it's worth mentioning that during the cabinet mini game after hitting the last key button last chest did not spawn and no animation was played, but reseting the world helped with that.

When you reset the world, any missing chests should respawn at the nearest respawn point to where you dropped it off.

I've been reseting the world since is clipped through the map, it did not help. Chest is still missing.

As we mentioned, when resetting the world, the chests don’t reappear in their original spots but at the nearest respawn point. Based on your screenshot, we believe it’s likely appearing at the base of the crane. Our QA team will be testing this, and we’ll keep you updated on what we find.

We've testing the build extensively, though we haven't yet been able to reproduce the issue. However, we've made some changes to the “reset the world” function, which we believe should prevent the problem from occurring.
We’ll be releasing this updated patch very soon and it should resolve the missing chest issue.

I don't see the glowing under the red X, and I am sure I am activating the magnet while it is right above or even touching the red X. I've tried resetting the world but fear it is bugged and under the map like the other commenter mentions.

We have been working on reproducing the issue but haven’t had any luck so far. We have been testing on a version where the "reset the world" function has been improved, so we believe that this update will address any potential issues.

Just an update: The most recent update has not resolved my issue. I still do not see the gold glow from the red X's or the ability to retrieve the chests.

Not sure if it helps any possible confusion, but just started playing this today, and it seems that resetting world also returns red X's that have already been gotten. I now have all red X's on ground with no glow due to having retrieved them all.

However, I stumbled upon this thread because I'm at 26/30 and can't find the last four. Been wondering if there's some gameplay mechanic I'm missing, as the mounded small trash piles are seeming like they should be destructable or something. 🤷‍♂️

EDIT: Just found last 4, turns out they were in "The Cabinet". 😹 🐌
