Steam doesn't close this game

Am I the only one experiencing this issue?

When I quit the game Steam still shows I'm playing it (green letters). I have to close Steam manually in order to restablish that message (blue letters). It only happens with this game. Any fix?

My rig:
R7 7800X3D
RTX 4090
32 GB RAM
W11 24H2

Stays running on steam after exiting game

On quitting the game steam says its still running and I have to click stop...

I have had that happen few times, and not just this game. It’s a steam issue.

Yes, I have the same thing. Once the game didn't even want to close forcibly, I had to reboot the computer. And this is the first time for me, only with this game.

Stopping this game seems to hang sometimes?

After playing and quitting out, when stopping the game it seems to just randomly hang and I'm forced to close Steam via the Task Manager to fully close the process.

Same issue here. I think the Ragnarok process closes because I can't find it in the Task Manager. The problem is Steam says it's still running until I manually close it and open it again (I mean Steam).

Only happened to me once but then I reinstalled it and it seems to be fine.

Do you have W11 24H2? I know some people with this problem and they all have this Windows version in common.

Yeah it happens since upgrading to 24H2.

Because it's an issue with PSN SDK.

I believe the update isnt rolled out for everyone so idk if people have manually updated to 24H2...

I would wait till it alerts me to update through Windows Update by which time maybe all issues like this among others are hopefully addressed by then.

When exiting notice that there should be 3 Playstation PSN SDK processes in your task manager, terminate them and the game should close.

actually you don't even have to go that far.
Just press Stop [images.app.goo.gl] in Steam where the "Play" button would be in the library window and it'll kill the tasks for you. but sometimes, very rarely, Steam will get stuck and is unable to kill the task itself so only then you'll have to manually go into Task Manager to do it. out of a dozen+ times, that only happened once for me.
