Angrboda is just another self insert of Kim Belair the CEO of Sweet Baby Inc.
Seriously, it's so bad, I decided against a second playthrough originally.
It feels like more attention, and development time went into it, than the actual "ragnarok" part of the game. Which felt very rushed compared to it.
Also, Angrboda is a character that's very obviously meant to pander to certain people (her powers are art related for christ's sake.), and neither her or Atreus are good enough characters to carry a scene like that, making it even worse.
I consider this game a 9,5/10, but that 1 section + character came VERY close to ruining it for me.
Also (slightly) unrelated,
action games need to stop having sections where we REPEATEDLY play as anything other than the titular characters. It never works, it always gets annoying.
It's such a bad trend. "looks at spider-man".
