Report a translation problem
1) If its all the voices, it may be that your setup is defined (or is emulating) a 5.1 / 7.1 surround. Voice is typically channelled to the center channel in which case, using a headset would map to FR and LR which would carry a very soft voice mix
2) Your headset is cheap. Kratos's voice is low. Cheap headsets have poor low frequency response. Which would make his voice sound softer compared to other voices.
3) Make sure you aren't plugging a 4 pole TRS headset jack into a 3 pole TRS jack.
I dunno...I feel Kratos mostly sounds pissed in these newer games too. It's just more of a seething anger. That said, I think I liked the old bloodthirsty Kratos more...it's rare to have a game where you play such a terrible guy. Now he's just the standard sympathetic antihero like in all the games.
