Recent update definitely broke the game.
Verifying File & Running it in Admin Mode worked for about 2.5 hours.
Quit the game for 30 minutes. Came back to play - only to be hit with the crashes again.

My fix was using "Revo Uninstaller" to not only uninstall the game itself but to also remove any leftover files, folders and registry keys of the game.
After the process I redownloaded the game and it works again.

I understand your struggle (I was there too in the past) but in my case I got a 1GBit download rate, so for me it's only about 15 - 20 minutes of waiting for the download and installation to finish.

Did not work my dude! I tried the app you said. Deleted the registries & stuff as well while uninstalling. still crashes.

I tried using REVO and remove all leftovers, download again and some issue.... I can't launch, I click on PLAY, it says it is running and right after shows Play again... not even a screen pop up to crash hahahaha

heyo! Might have found a "fix". The thing is you will have to do the steps everytime you launch the game. I have tried 4 times in a row now & it hasn't crashed.

Step 1:
Delete anything in this path:
C:\ProgramData\Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc\PSPC_SDK\S22

Step 2:
Install PsPcSdkRuntimeInstaller.msi found in the game installed location.
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\God of War Ragnarok

Step 3:
Run the game from the installed folder & run it as admin.

Lemme know if it works out, yeah?

I use a variation of this, I found using the
.bat file to install the SDK runtimes(inside the game folder) as admin let's me launch the game, it works something like this.

-Run the .bat file as admin, let it install, run the game a couple of times, it will crash.
-Delete the folder the crash generated in your recycle bin.
-Run the game again, sometimes it will launch until the second or third try.
-Do this every time you want to play the game.

I have no idea why any of this works, what the ♥♥♥♥ did they ♥♥♥♥ up with this update?

3.52.00.01 - this is the sdk version that worked for me. I have noticed at times the installed sdk version is different.
