After the process I redownloaded the game and it works again.
I have to wait like an hour or 2. I might end up doing it. Cos ♥♥♥♥ crashed again for no reason.
Did not work my dude! I tried the app you said. Deleted the registries & stuff as well while uninstalling. still crashes.
Step 1:
Delete anything in this path:
C:\ProgramData\Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc\PSPC_SDK\S22
Step 2:
Install PsPcSdkRuntimeInstaller.msi found in the game installed location.
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\God of War Ragnarok
Step 3:
Run the game from the installed folder & run it as admin.
Lemme know if it works out, yeah?
I use a variation of this, I found using the
.bat file to install the SDK runtimes(inside the game folder) as admin let's me launch the game, it works something like this.
-Run the .bat file as admin, let it install, run the game a couple of times, it will crash.
-Delete the folder the crash generated in your recycle bin.
-Run the game again, sometimes it will launch until the second or third try.
-Do this every time you want to play the game.
I have no idea why any of this works, what the ♥♥♥♥ did they ♥♥♥♥ up with this update?
The batch file variation mentioned just above by OdyZeusX seem to have worked for me for an hour & a half now. It does crash couple of times but redo the steps & it just works. Run the game from the folder with admin rights. Should/Might work.
3.52.00.01 - this is the sdk version that worked for me. I have noticed at times the installed sdk version is different.
You should try this, found it in another post, can't test it myself right now.

Please just use this mod. Although it was originally made for Spider-Man 2, my God of War 5 wouldn’t launch today either. After using it, the game started immediately. Sony, your pssdk issue appears to be quite significant; perhaps you might consider withdrawing it promptly."
Didn't work dude.
Damn.
We'll have to wait for another Hotfix next week it seems.
Well at least we can launch he game now and they fixed the missing prompts for equipment upgrades.
