Controller stopped working.
I was playing with a controller and had no problems. Now my controller is not working and when I go to game settings, it won't let me access the controller menu (it's as if the game doesn't recognize my controller).
I had the controller set to classic, so the setting would be the same for the 2018 God of War.
If I start God of War (2018) I don't have any issues with the controller.
I have been using it wireless. When I changed to a USB connection with my controller, it still didn't make a difference.
Does anyone know a fix for this?

OK, I got some of the controller to function - namely the joysticks. I am also able to access all the settings (including changing the settings) with my controller.
I am using a Stealth Ultra Controller. I did calibrate the joysticks.
The xyba buttons and the dpad doesn't work. I have disabled the steam game controller, restarted the computer, enabled the steam controller (there is a blue dot by the xbox controller) and restarted my computer.
I did a Google search and followed the troubleshooting tips on this problem. Nothing has worked.
Does anyone have any other ideas?
Well, I finally figured out that right clicking on God of War Ragnarok, selecting properties, and choosing controller, I was able to disable Steam input. Turns out that I didn't need the Steam input, and now my controller works they way it should.
