DEI is diversity, equity, inclusive
SBI is Sweet Baby Inc

There are probably two matters at which these are concern:

- If DEI and SBI has been put into too much control in game development, it might result to deviation from the appropriate narrative, art and creativity that the game should be been designed for

- Otherwise, if the game was designed to require a certain member of a certain group, devs need to make sure that these group are portrayed correctly, example, if a game includes Alien or so.

two entities that make me appreciate the real god of war games even more. GoW1-3 is peak god of war, idk what this nu-era dad of war RPG-walking simulator stuff is.

it was even said that either sony or the dev team were actually ashamed of the older games and wanted to change the series image.

It's always funny to see that the people talking about how it doesn't make "sense" or it's not "accurate" to mythology seem to only have a problem with this one specific character.

They don't seem bothered by the fact Brokk is blue, or that they made Mimir a scottish fairy in this game for example. Yeah... I wonder why they only have an issue with THIS character, hmm... what a mystery !

Anyone trying to hide or rationalize their racism by claiming they only seek logic and accuracy (in GoW of all games...) are only making fools of themselves.

It was the producer, and he said he disliked the whole "Kratos is a dad" angle.

In other words, he doesn't even understand the character at a base enough level to be taken seriously in the first place, much like the people that try to use this talking point to prove something.
