Problem beating Bjorn

Is there a bug in beating Bjorn? After about a minute into the match, Bjorn's gold bars at the top of the screen drop 1 bar so he has just a little less than 4 full bars. My white bar below his slowly grows to almost 100%, but not quite, and then drops to 0 and starts building again. I dodge his yellow attacks and dodge/run his red attacks. I throw the axe when I can but it has little effect. Things stay this way no matter how long I play. After about 10 minutes of not gaining ground I just end the game. Frustrating.

Use rage mode and punch him.

For some reason, the QTE triggering Rage wouldn't happen. Had to restart the game and then it worked.
