VSYNC Lowering fps?
Has anyone noticed you easily lose about 10 - 20 frames when enabling vsync? Why is that happening in this game...

Yes, the GPU load drops slightly, and accordingly the FPS drops. Disable sync and lock FPS. You can do it through the driver, you can set any number there.

Yeah I've locked fps ingame. Was just odd I don't usually experience any frame frate decrease with vsync in other games.

Also when you turn frame gen on in this game it seems to ignore the ingame fps cap, what's going on there?

Ignore fps cap? I don't know. I have v-sync disabled and a lock at 130 fps, when I turn on FG, I still have the same 130 fps.

Does any of you know any way of having vsync and not losing 10-20 frames? I have the exact same issue like Striker. But without vsync i get bad screen tearing. is there any way to fix it? ive tried with nvidia control panel vsync, etc...

Heard last update bugged this when DLSS FG is disabled, so probably enable that or delete the FG dll file from the game folder if you don't have a 40-series card.
The relevant file is "nvngx_dlssg.dll".

No. I have a g-sync module in my monitor, but even with that, when I turn on v-sync, the GPU load is cut off, although in other games everything is fine.

Yes with frame gen on and fps locked within the game at 120. It goes past 120 as far as it can go. Frame gen off then fps cap works as intended. Also something I've not experienced with any other game. Seems gow does have a few odd bugs going on

It's weird, it works differently for me, I checked it specifically. If anything, I blocked the fps via the driver, not via the game menu.

i got 4080 i can get 80+ on max settings 4k native but the problem is the stuttering with vsync turned on. otherwise game runs flawlessly. sadly vsync introduces real bad stuttering EDIT: i am gonna try deleting that file cuz it seems that guy is also rtx 40 series owner and he says his performance and stuttering all got eliminated by deleting that file, you only lose dlss and frame gen. Ngl i dont even use those 2 cuz game looks great on all the options especially native TAA. So i hope it works

Native taa or dlss dlaa which you think looks best. I've heard dlaa is the way to go but it's hard to tell difference haha

I have a 144Hz monitor, I turned off V-sync and locked at 130 fps via the driver. Everything is perfectly smooth.

Oh... Your monitor doesn't even have "g-sync compatible"? I see. Then that's a problem. I have "g-sync ultimate".
