Xbox one controller

My Xbox one controller doesn't connected this game, is it only possible to use dual shock or for ps controller?

Actually, it should detect your Xbox controller with no issues. If your controller is not being detected, try disconnecting the controller and then plugging it back in while the game is running. If that still doesn't work then perhaps try a different USB port.

Thanks, but other games(Elden ring, previus God of war,,,) detectied well with this controller, so i guess that only Xbox one controller was blocked to use this game...

That is strange. It should work "out of the box" so to speak. I don't own the game on Steam, but hopefully someone else here on Steam will be able to chime in with a solution.

Using a Series X Elite 2 controller and it only works with steam input. If that's disabled then controller doesn't work

Just checked on YouTube for the folks that are having a hard time getting an xbox controller to work. Apparently you can get it to work with a little bit of tweaking... here are the videos.

As mentioned earlier, I don't have the game, so I can't test any of this out, but I hope one of these will get the controller working for you.

There's nothing worse than buying a game that should work with your hardware, only to find out that it does not.

There's nothing worse than buying a game that should work with your hardware, only to find out that it does not.

It is beyond me how but disabling steam input from outside AND the properties by right clicking AND restarting everything actually worked. You'd think disabling it from the layout menu would be the same. Funnily enough it still said steam input enabled in the layout during gameplay. This might actually be a steam thing and not on the devs at all lol

Thanks @Lexomatico, I had the same problem with the Xbox One controller not being detected.

Only deactivating the Steam Input via Game Properties -> Controller did not help but after I deactivated it via Steam Settings -> Controller -> External Gamepad Settings -> Enable Steam Input for Xbox Controllers it works now! (Maybe a restart of the system or steam is needed to apply the settings)

Little late mabe I had same issue. I tried the xbox series x/s controller it works for all my other games. Got the controller on black Friday so I figured have one for home and one for on thr go. I had a xbox one controller and out that in my travel bag. Today I tried playing, the series x/s not working and I was like wth let me try my series one and it worked!!!! Idk why and how but the setting in thr same but some reason game dosnt like to work with the series x/s but the one it's fine with. Also I learned to disable the xbox 360 perifial in device manager and now bother controllers work no issue. Hope it help someone
