Sony, fix yours PSPC_SDK!

Sony, what's wrong with you? I bought the third release of your games on pc this year. So what? Every time I play your games, my head hurts. I need to do some stupid things. And it's all the fault of your crooked software called PSPC_SDK. Before each run, I need to go to C:\ProgramData\ and delete the Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc. folder, then I need to go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\God of War Ragnarok and run the install_pspc_sdk_runtime.bat file as administrator. Then I need to go to C:\ProgramData\Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc\PSPC_SDK\S22\2.50.00.10 and run the file PsPcSdkAppMgr.exe as administrator. And only now you can start the game. At the end of the game session, another surprise awaits you. The game won't close until you kill three of the SDK's processes in the Task Manager: PsPcSdkAppMgr.exe, PsPcSdkCore.exe PsPcSdkTelemetry.exe that prevent you from exiting the game and Steam thinks you're still in the game. Eventually, during gameplay, SDK 2.50.00.10 updates itself to version 2.52.00.01 PsPcSdkUpdateChecker.exe. After that, we have two PsPcSdkAppMgr.exe files in two folders, and neither of them runs. To start the game again, you need to repeat all the procedures again! The same problem was in Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut, only there the game worked without this SDK, only the first launch with the SDK was needed.
This is just a disregard on the part of Sony for its PC customers. Why do I have to do all of this, paying a full price for your games?

I think the issue is that two versions appear under PSPC_SDK and deleting version 3 (C:\ProgramData\Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc\PSPC_SDK\S22\3.00.00.13) and launching the game is enough. It will be automatically created, but yeah, this is horrible

I do not even have the sony interactive installed to my c: drive and i do not know how to fix that issue

Almost seems like the addition of PSN was a last-minute decision and wasn't thoroughly tested before release. And this impacts people who aren't as tech-savvy a lot more, too. I understand Sony needs to boost some of their numbers after poor console sales, but this doesn't exactly help them either. In fact, it only emboldens people to sail some high seas.

I had every intention of buying this game until they announced the PSN DRM. Then, the mod came out, and that got taken down. Not gonna sail, I have other games, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, just bad decisions all-around.

Okay, the third version of this unfinished SDK has solved some of the problems with Sony games. And now there is no need to constantly delete and reinstall this buggy software. But the games still do not close after the end of the gaming sessions. You have to go in and close them from Steam or Task Manager. It's better, but not quite.

I'm still having this issue and according to internet searches, apparently a lot of other people are too. Absurd.

This is STILL A TOTAL mess.

I have bought the game through Epic but it doesn't change anything the files are the same
The PSPC_SDK (related to the mandatory PSN login) is causing all these issues.
Now, If you delete the C:\ProgramData\Sony Interactive Entertainment folder and manually install everything with the .bat file as mentioned it will install the 2.50.00.10 which with the latest updates (the last was today) of the game won't work in any case.
If you check integrity files or whatever the version of the PSPC (PsPcSdkRuntimeInstaller.msi) remains the 2.50.00.10 while should be 3.00.00.13
So the PSPC_SDK is why this game in 99% of the cases won't start at all
Not to mention the issue with frame generation

Isn't it funny when the devs treat you worse as a paying customer than you'd be treated if you were to just sail the game on the open seas..?

I wanted to buy this game. I bought GoW 2018 on day 1 (which I don't normally do....and even then I got burnt, because the raw mouse input and DLSS oversharpening fixes came AFTER I finished the game...). I love the franchise. But I'm sailing this one if PSN isn't removed within the month.

To fix this, apply the mod that disables PSN login and game will start normally everytime.

Except every time that mod resurfaces, it keeps getting taken down. I haven't seen it hosted on NMods for 2 weeks.
