god of war ragnarok has controller issues makes it unplayable

Im having controls delay issues feels like it moving by it self on how delay it gets. I have turn the controller off and on about every 20 minutes to temporarily fix it. I turn off steam controller input off but still doing it. Im using a xbox wireless controller by bluetooth. im going to try wired connection. Has anyone have same problem and found a solution?

I was facing this issue also. Not only was there input lag, but the game ran awful after a while. Switching to wired instead of bluetooth fixes the problem. Weird issue however.

Have the same issue. Xbox gamepad. GPU is loaded on 50% and I have 60FPS. Gradually game starts freezing more and more. I turn the controller off -> on and now it's 60FPS again. Doing it every 10 minutes.

My BT USB dongle is pretty old and I've been having different issues with it once in a while. Ordered a new one on PCI-E. We'll see how it goes.

Nevertheless, I didn't have this kind of issue in other games. Sony had 2 years to make a decent port and still failed. Hopefully they won't follow Ubisoft steps.

yes. bluetooth can give major issues. turn off bluetooth and play wired. It is so weird, but this fixed the vram issue for me.

also, if u are having issues regarding movement... my character used to move for about 3 sec when i just slightly moved him. using the program ds4emulator fixed that as well for me.

Moreover, I've tried to play with a Bluetooth dongle and ear buds (one plus) it broke my game, even wired the controller keeps on disconnecting after 20 seconds (only in this game). Sometimes crashing the whole game. Now with or without Bluetooth I am bound to play mouse + keyboard

i had to unplug my keyboard to get my xbox elite series 2 controller working. dunno if this helps anyone.

I cant get my PS5-Controller to work wireless in this game either. Why is this still a problem for so many games. Is it really this hard to program?

You need to unplug your keyboard for wireless Gaming. Dont know why, but works everytine for me. Unplug keyboard, open ds4 windows, connect controller, start game 👌 Btw, without ds4 windows it didnt work. So just in case, currently you need 3rd party software. Hope for a fix

If you play while using Wi-Fi connection and Bluetooth it will disconnect and behave like you describe. To solve this disable your Wi-Fi. For some reason hardware manufacturers build Wi-Fi and Bluetooth in the same chip/board and they interfere each other.

Other thing you can try is to connect to 5GHz network. Bluetooth works on 2.4GHz as many Wi-Fi networks.

You can always check if there is newer Bluetooth and Wi-Fi drivers for your hardware.

Also stop any browser or torrent programs or anything which can download/upload data while playing. This also messes up the stability of Bluetooth connection.
