Game won't go 4k after patch 2

Got about 7 hours in at 4k fullscreen, no problem. Now, after patch 2, the game in fullscreen maxes out at 1440p and grays out the option. It still lets me select 4k in windowed mode, just not fullscreen. Anyone else had this problem or know a fix?

Are you using upscaling FSR or DLSS? ..those drop the screen size and greys out the option to switch.
