Crashing (hopefully resolved)

Seems to be related to FPS limitations. I tried just about everything suggested on forums. capping my FPS to 30 at the place the game was crashing seemed to allow me to continue. After I passed that section, I just paused the game and put all settings back to how I was playing and its been fine since. Hope that helps others!

When did things stop crashing for you at high fps?

started at the 2nd phase of the boss fight, once I put the FPS to 30 it stopped. I beat it and reset my settings and been playing at 120 fps since.

Well my game has been running at 300 fps, which explains the insane crashes (still I’m running the game at max settings on my PC with DLAA on).

Maybe try turning down all graphics settings to minimum? that sounds like it may be running out of VRAM or if the HDD you have the game installed on may be starving for buffer space. Also lack of resources somewhere on your PC. You can also try changing it to windows mode and shrink the screen down so the components are using its maxes resources.

Open the trainer for GOW Ragnarok

Turn on the trainer for super damage

Hit Thor Before he casts his hammer

finish the fight

Turn off the Trainer and continue the story

I had my second crash today idk what's going on. First time was during a cut scene upon finding a certain god for the first time. Second was the odins raven cinematic near the training ground. It completely crashes my entire pc super annoying. Especially since otherwise the performance is near perfect. I'm using radeon chill to cap the fps to 120 but maybe I should use the games fps cap instead?

Some radeon software could definitely cause crashes.
If your entire PC crashes it's definitely not normal, something must be seriously off on your end.
Disable any OC or undervolt and go through some troubleshooting (test CPU, ram & GPU).

That worked for me at Thor and 2 other spots down the road , but it's not working now . Im stuck inbetween realms at the Tree House .........sooo aggrivated . Not near as bad when you can just go in ,change settings , get past the hump change settings back . Although you shouldnt HAVE to, at least you can continue on your journey. It's 100% the game . At that spot my CPU maxes and game freezes, my mouse doesnt . I can watch the CPU catch up and drop to 37% but the game just wont continue at that point .Doesnt kick me out though, I have to CTRL/Alt/Del it -.-
