Are you on an Intel 13/14th gen? , if so I blame that.

Don't listen to the morrons saying it is a Intel problem, cause it's not.

I was playing fine yesterday, now every time i hit continue on the main menu i get a VRAM/overheating GPU error (its def not overheating) wtf did they do to this game lmfao

the problem is that to play game without problems, you need to have 4 GB VRAM, But I have 3,84 GB VRAM, and I heard that there is something you can do, so I writing here if someone had the same problem

bro what u mean. ppl that are on 13th an 14th gen cpus who havent downloaded the new microcode update CAN IN FACT 155% have this issue. only way to rectify that it ISnt the issue is BY DOWNLOADING THE NEW MICROCODE UPDATE. cuz i dont have this issue but im also on a 11th gen 11900k with a 4070.

only way to guarantee that its not overheating is by also looking at the hotspot gpu temps , only software that iknow rn that tells me my hotspot temp on my gpu is icue. theres 3 temp probes in the 40 series gpus an probably the same on amd , one temp is just yur regular heatsink temp which is always gonna be like 12 degrees cooler than the hotspot temp , an the third temp ...... well idk hoenstly... but deffiently take a look at those hotspot temps.

How about, you :
1. List the exact error that appears
2. List the hardware you got.

Those are 2 very important things if you want any proper help.

Bro, 3 desktops here. One on 13th gen with 3 BIOS updates behind so no microcode update. Two 14th gen. One is on the newest BIOS other older BIOS no microcode update.
This game runs good on all of them.

There is something wrong with the game. Same ♥♥♥♥ happend on the first GOW on release. Took them 3 months to fix it. Memory leak.

playing it at 1440p max settings 4070s/9900k/32gb gigawatts, Marty

the gpu is 100% and the cpu is 30%. reflex+boost can take 1% off the gpu but does nothing else

i guess 8gb cards might have issues for sure

nixxes & co are pretty good at what they do, maybe just bench the game for a few days and see what patches hit

I really don't get not buying a GPU without At LEAST 16GB of Vram.
