Raven Behind Gate in Alfheim

Is anyone having serious issues getting the raven behind the gate in Alfheim? I know you are supposed to bounce the axe off the purple stone on the left so it will then bounce off the stone behind the gate and hit the raven. I've even looked at walkthroughs online and found exactly where to stand. However, the little line refuses to turn blue, and I cannot line up the shot to save my life no matter where I stand. I spent over 30 minutes trying to get it to work and couldn't. Has anybody else encountered this problem? Thanks in advance!

I legitimately think this one is broken on PC, or at least very buggy. Any chance you're also running an ultrawide monitor? That's the only thing I can imagine affecting this on my end.

I've tried half a dozen different videos and picture guides on the internet, they all have slightly different positioning but they all show it very clearly snapping into place and the line turning blue. No matter what I try, the line never turns blue.
Some other of the crystal bounce puzzles I managed to jank by just getting it in the 'right' position without it snapping, which is not the same as the position it snaps to when it does work (as the snap position just turns it into a magic guided missile), but this one isn't possible with just the bounce and not the magic guidance.

Try Harder [ Im joking , Ive never spent much time on steam discussions and that just sounded like the snarky replies people get most the time lololol ] I actually don't know, Im not that far yet . Took me 3 days of getting out of game fighting first THOR battle . And I DID try hard lol

TLDR they are insanely tough to get sometimes, just look it up on YT ;p

Thankfully all it took was a restart of the game and for some reason it was perfectly fine. Got it within a few seconds. Your comment of try harder is rude and unhelpful though. Go troll someplace else.

i can confirm that occasionally the purple and blue axe reflect trajectory lines get bugged and it prevents the blue lines from appearing and makes the angles impossible to line up. Closing the game and restarting also fixed for me
