Can't choose resolution in fullscreen

I can't change the game resolution while being in full screen. The only way to get it to 1440p is to be windowed mode. Any idea on how to be able to change the resolution in full screen ?

No you can't change the game resolution higher than your current desktop resolution, the game doesn't have an exclusive full screen mode.

My desktop resolution is 1440p therefore there is no reason I shouldn't be able to have the in game resolution at 1440p too

Hi Mark Rutzu do yo have DLSS enabled? if you have this option enabled the game will display the resolution at which the upscaler will work i.e: I play in 3480x2160 with DLSS enabled to quality my max resolution in game shows only 2560X1440. Sorry for my English.

using DLSS or FSR will reduce the resolution because they upscale it. Thats how it works. If you have DLSS enabled but use DLAA instead of quality or performance, your resolution goes to your desktop one.

You aren't running on a 4:3 monitor are you? If you are, the game will reduce the resolution and add black bars

The OS it runs in is based on WIndows. Running in full screen actually lowers performance. WIndows OS is moving away from even supporting fullscreen anymore.

my monitor is 4k but my computer isn't strong enough to run it at 4k resolution therefore I want to change it to 1440p (full screen) but it just can't anyway.

seems like in SCALING settings, if you choose METHOD "Temporal Anti-Aliasing" and QUALITY "Native" it will run at desktop res

pick in windows lower resolution and then play, game will pick windows resolution as full screen.
