If you launch it with a network connection it appears to have no problems with letting you go offline afterward however.
According to the official Sony PlayStation Support the Game was not verified for the Steam Deck since they couldn't run it flawless. So while the Game might be running in the end expect a bumpy experience since usually when a Developer does tell you that a Game doesn't run out of the Box with Steam Deck you can expect the worst and hope for the best.
We will see how much the Team back at Jetpack Interactive will be able to optimize the Game for the Steam Deck over the upcoming months. As far as it goes i wouldn't recommend buying it if your Main Gaming Station is the Steam Deck since the Feedback has been so far not good about the Steam Deck running the Game if you follow the usual Forums.
Turn everything to low. Run FSR.
Though because I have family share my brother is able to play it but not me. Could that be cause the issue on my steam deck?
