No rumble with Xbox One controller

does it works for you ? Plus A/B swapping options doesn't work properly. It just swap buttons in the UI but for it to work I have to switch the two buttons in Steam input as well.

there seems to be an issue with both controllers and no rumble, its happening for both xbox ones and PS ones,
switch steam api etc doesnt work either,hopefully they are on the issue

I have tried PS5 Dual Sense, I’ve tried Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Dual Shock 4, Manba One, Stadia…the whole f**king 9 yards and I’m lucky to ever get them to work and no rumble; worse is my Windows Explorer crashes (can’t even use Task Manager, and eventually the whole thing freezes) most of the time when I troubleshoot. It’s a disaster. No other games have issues and my PC is pretty decent (R7 5800X and a ROG RTX 4070 Super) so what gives? I’m losing my sh!t over this.

Try disabling Steam Input. I believe mine wasn't working until I did that. It also allows you to remap controls using the in-game mapping menu.

do this, and for anyone using an xbox controller, don't forget to download the accessories app from the windows store. this app will allow you to update your xbox controllers.

Glad it helped out. Windows really needs to find a way to update those drivers/firmware without another app that's never advertised anywhere.
