PC SDK Runtime missing

If I launche the game an Error occurs. it says "The program can't start because Playstation(R) PC SDK Runtime is missing from your computer."
I reinstalled the Game multiple times and tried to repair it in the game properties but the error still occurs.
Is anyone else having this problem and knows how to fix it?

Sorry some of the suggested solutions haven't worked. However, if you bought it on Steam and have barely any time logged you could always request a refund.

...if we bought it on Steam. For those of us who got it elsewhere, this is not an option. What's really frustrating is that Sony apparently has no worthwhile support of their own.

Hey guys this has been driving me crazy, the game wouldn't even open but i found the actual fix IF YOU CANT OPEN THE GAME.... the game 100% REQUIRES: AVX2 ENABLED IN BIOS SETTINGS. im not sure why they made this a thing but its 100% true AVX2 MUST BE ENABLED TO EVEN JUST LAUNCH THE GAME AT ALL. i hope this fixes it for the ones who couldn't even get the game to launch at all as this did fix it for me. Please let me know if this helped you guys

could simply be an invalid path in the file because of white space.

So simply copy the msi file to the desktop and double-click to install, that's it. worked for me and i didnt even have the sony folder on install.

Found it, at least for me. That SDK Runtime installer? It kept getting gated by my antivirus and not completing the function. While it tried to run, I added it all to trusted files, ran it again, aaaand now game launched.

I recently upgraded and was having these same issues. IE whole brand new PC, kept not booting. But I fixed it finally. I have a Ibuypower PC, the MSI Center needed to update... So click that head thing at the bottom and let it update and run stuff. Once that happened it loaded for me.
