Camera micro stutters

When using a mouse the game camera has a bunch of micro stutters, when I use a controller the issue goes away, and the camera is buttery smooth.

Yeah, Camera seems very jittery.

Smooth once changed over to controller.

True, for first my mouse was not working ingame (only in menu), after playing with mouse settings and restarted game mouse is now working but with terrible microstuttering. I tried to turn off amd frame generation if its not a case but game crashed ... oh my :).

hey would you be able to share what you did to make your mouse work for camera rotation? would be tremendously helpful for lots of folks and I since we can't get it to work at all.

Yes, I went into options and updated camera sens to 10, then wen back ingame to realise it did not help so I went back and update camera sens back to 5 and then exit game. When I ran game again, mouse is working.

Update about amd frame generation, when I managed to turn it off, mouse stuttering is even worse then with fg so that's not a cause, seems like similar problem with GOW1, they fixed that promtly back then but it was there for a day or two. BTW also tried to turn off reflex and vsync and even dlss, nothing is helping, must be problem with mouse and frame pacing implementation.

Yeah I’m pretty sure it’s some bug with the game and how it registers mouse movement because I used my performance overlay and when I do get the micro stutters they do not show up on the frame time graph unlike actual micro stutters would, I guess I will just play controller for now, I played GOW 2018 with KBM and find is easier to combo in combat.

Lol, GoW 2018 on PC had the exact same issue with the keyboard and mouse—movement would break the character's walking animation, and turning the character in different directions didn’t work properly. Later, a patch was released.

I have the feeling the mouse updates at lower frequency (I'm on a 175hz display and the mouse movement feels 60hz). It's distracting.

Also, when holding W and alterning A and D, Kratos movement is very janky (like his head teleport around) - not fluid like the first game.

It's not even when using M+KB... especially during the opening uncontrollable sequences, the camera is just jittering all around instead of staying focused. Really stupid.

I tried fighting multiple enemies, and it was unplayable. The camera switched uncontrollably on its own, so quickly that I didn't know what was happening. It felt like a poorly edited movie...

i cant tern kratos look with mouse but only with < > ^ how can i change this?
