terrible fps
CPU: i5 8600
RAM: 16GB RAM DDR4
GPU: rtx 2070
and 1TB NVME Samsung 980

and just 18 fps on medium settings in 1440p, any advice?

You CPU is the cause. 6 cores with no HT isn't enough. The game is using 10 of my 16 CPU cores. Time to replace that motherboard and CPU. If that CPU had HT tech, and it was a 6/12 core CPU, that may have been enough.

Yeaa i'm waiting for cybermonday to buy everything new (gpu prices sucks), but still:
Game requirements: i5 8600 recommended so it should work better than that :/

Your setup is suited for 1080p medium settings to get 60fps max. You posted 1440p.

Also if you are on laptop that goes down even more.

Pretty smooth 7900x3D, 32gb 6000mhz DDR5 and RTX 4090 ~4K ultra frame gen and dlss to quality. 110-200 fps. Not see a problem, but there is something strange about dlss 3 frame gen, fsr 3 fg works better atm what coming frame rate.
