EDIT: despite what the menu says, 5.1 sound seems to work fine. Dialogue is coming from the center channel, sounds happening around me are coming the correct channels as well. The menu lies.
I did try forcing the game audio to use the digital channel by optical cable and using a 7.1 surround headset and rebooting the game.
Hoping more options would be given, but did no effect.
Nixxes would have done a better job Porting this game i think like so many other succesfull console to pc masterpeaces ports before, like god of war and spiderman etc.
I would have liked for Sony to again let them do Ragnarok too
not that it's a bad port this time,
but would be better and have more polish overal.
i think Nixxes are king when it comes to delivering a good playstation to PC port.
and have less (minor) mistakes like typos left in game.
like the ingame menu message typo that still only mentions the console instead of PC as option if wanted more options.
Except Jetpack Interactive ported both God of War and Ragnarok. Admittedly Nixxies have done some stunning ports, but they had nothing to do with either God of War ports.
