Don't even have a powerful GPU myself to take advantage of my 4K TV, but I can still run a HDMI from my PC to my TV and just press Windows + P when I want to switch screens and game on the TV.

Controller in hand, kicked back on the sofa.

The biggest misconception about PC gaming is that you can only game on PC with a small monitor sitting right in front of you. I have been playing my PC games on large TV displays since the original launch of World of Warcraft. The other complaint associated with this is "I work all day on the computer, I just want to come home and relax on my sofa and game on my big screen" lol. Many also don't know that you can use controllers on the PC and that you can easily set up keyboard and mouse (wired or otherwise) in the living room or wherever the heck the big screen is located.

I have my PC connected to an OLED TV and play from a memory foam chair that's probably the most comfortable thing I've ever sat on.
still not living room couch gaming. Let me see how you gonna start your console pc with 20 driver updates
Since last windows you can choose for drivers to auto-update OR if people using older there are program who auto do that. Like Driver Booster.

GPU driver updates take less time than console updates do lol I have a couch I can sit on as well, some people have more than one piece of furniture.
pc looks really goofy in the living room. And no you still have to boot windows first open steam uppdate game and so on.

Console is just click to play
FF to Steam Big Picture? or Direct starting order xf?

My beautiful pc rgb metal and glass case looks way better than a piece of white bent plastic, plus have you heard of m.2 SSD? My pc boots faster than ps5 pro
Nah that looks terrible having a xxl case inside your living room lol xD

PC isnt meant to be a console. Its a working machine for a good monitor.
Personal taste.

Agreed. That's why my PC is connected to my OLED C9 and I have a couch in front of it.

Oled + recliner + 4090 + 4k ultra 120fps locked = an experience console gamers can only dream of.

funny though this game plays best on an xbox elite pro 2 controller

I've got a decent laptop hooked up to the 65" OLED in the living room to facilitate couch gaming, the TV's response time isn't quite as good as a dedicated PC monitor but it's a great way to play. I guess you need more than a 65 IQ to set it up properly though so I get why you'd rather go with a console.

Are PCs more complicated than consoles? Not particularly, it's just that when something goes wrong on PC you can fix it yourself whereas on console you're just screwed until the corpos get around to doing it for you.
