Can anyone please tell me how long I have to sit through this adolescent crap in a God of War game?

Hopefully in a spin-off and not a mainline game. Otherwise, the title "God of War" wouldn't really make sense anymore

I get what you mean; I prefer Kratos as the God of war as well. But, Before there was Kratos as the GOW, there was Ares. In this series, GOW is a title now.

Olympus was destroyed, Zeus beaten, Atheena's plans foiled and Kratos attempted suicide by magical sword but instrad dying was sent to Egypt; all of this earned by Kratos's blades.

Atreus will basically be a pokemon trainer collecting giants and gods to fight at ragnarok against Odin's army, if they go the "Diplomat route" Atreyus would probably play a lot like he does now, but confident and with new power. If they go the "Warriior route" he will be just like Kratos.

Kratos foresaw his death in the first game, and with that it also showed Loki inheriting something, that's a mystery. Also, Im pretty sure at some point the corpse of kratos might become Jormungandr, meant to destroy the god's.

In real mythology, The world serpent kills Thor while fenrir kills Odin. Kratos kills Thor, that's the parallel.

I'm aware of that, the stabbing. Kratos/Atreyus softened Thor's heart, Making him disobey orders, and got stabbed for it... He didn't even try to defend himself. If Kratos never intervened, Thor would still be a Lapdog.

I hate how they changed the og mythology. lol

RE4: Ashley missions
TLOU: Ellie missions These ones are okay.
Heavenly sword: Kai missions 50/50
Batman AC: Catwoman missions

The list goes on.

It sucks when they suddenly make you play as boring characters for story progression. Most of the time, its a new set of controls and gameplay perimeters that only last for 5% of the missions.
