Can i not use the map to fast travel anymore?

I went back to the first village to see if i could loot anything i was unable to before but it took 5 mins on the boat to get there. Have I got to row all the way back to the fast travel gate to pick another location?

Only the gateways can be used to fast travel.

Moreover I am kinda surprised you arent aware of this.... you didnt play GOW 2018 or what cos you surely would have known this otherwise? If not, idk why are you playing the sequel without playing the prior game... makes no sense to me.
