Unable to Upgrade Blades

I picked up a chaos spark, but it is not showing when I go to brock. There is a permanent "!" over my weapons now

Those, after you collected all of them, will generate a Chaos Flame or whatever it is called that upgrades the Blades of Chaos. They don't do anything by themselves, as far as I could tell.

I have the same problem. I also have the permanent "!" over the weapons when going to the shop. I'm stuck at level 8 Blades so it makes it impossible to defeat King Hrolf Kraki and Queen Gna. How do you report a major game breaking bug?

Having this issue, but my blades are stuck at level 4. I've now picked up two chaos flames and still cant upgrade them.

I have save files for any specific point of progress that u may need but it may not have the gear that u like upgraded but at least the weapon upgrades will be as per what progress is current...

I have completed the game 100% on GMGOW with all gear upgraded to lvl 9 (only Vidar chest piece is lvl 8). All weapon skill tokens are unlocked, all labors are completed.

no help for this problem, but this game has weird random bugs that have been around since console release, in the PC port I've run across 2 bugs referred to in 2 year old YouTube videos and reddit postings.
